snow no!

as if i needed any more reasons to be sick of massachusetts, a snowstorm is most likely trapping me in houston.
sure, the weather is nice, but i am bored out of my gourd. the city is kind of nice, but its so darned big that you have to drive forever to do anything. i'm in the suburbs, and it's all strip malls and fast food.
at my brother's, we pretty much just sit around and watch tv and try not to let their three dogs and three cats jump all over us. i was forced to watch football last night, but luckily i was able to slip away for the tail end of an antm marathon...
i did get to go on a helicopter ride piloted by my brother today. it was pretty rad, if only for twenty minutes.
it's great to see my brother and his wife, but i feel kind of lazy here.
i'm hoping that when i get home, my motivation to make it to la, will motivate me to be more active and productive in other areas of my life.
